CANDICE FORTUNATO, M.D.

Dr. Candice Fortunato was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada — graduating from UNLV and the University of Nevada School of Medicine before heading to Penn State Hershey Medical Center to complete her dual residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. She remains double board-certified in both fields.

She returned to the Las Vegas and Henderson area and spent over a decade as an inpatient hospitalist serving adults and children — including serving as Vice Chair of Pediatrics at St. Rose Dominican Siena Campus. She continues to educate medical students and holds her physician identity with deep seriousness.

Her journey into aesthetic medicine began with her own skin — specifically, adult acne at various stages of life. Her mother’s passing in 2021 served as a painful reminder that time is promised to no one, and Dr. Fortunato stepped into aesthetics determined to do it the right way: with the rigor of medicine, the precision of a physician, and the soul of someone who understands that how you feel in your skin matters.

She founded [ Skin + Tonic ] as Henderson’s boutique regenerative aesthetics practice — physician-led, personally curated, and intentionally small. She is a SOAMfactor brand ambassador and sources Korean medical-grade protocols and devices firsthand from Seoul. She evaluates every device and product through a three-pillar framework: scientific evidence, clinical outcomes, and financial integrity.

At [ Skin + Tonic ], science and education come before marketing. Always.
